NEW PROGRAMS AND CHANGES

Memorial Day Specials
This Memorial Day take a moment to remember those who’ve served our country. As a tribute to our veterans Sun Sounds of Arizona presents a special airing of “D-Day on the Radio, Parts I & II.”
Tune in 9:30am-11am on Monday, May 26 to hear radio broadcasts from June 6, 1944, the day on which the Invasion of Normandy began. “D-Day on the Radio” is a presentation of Reading & Radio Resource-North Texas Radio for the Blind in Dallas. This program will air in place of the Wall Street Journal and business world from 9:30am-11:30 am. Readers Anthology will follow.

On June 6th Sun Sounds of Arizona celebrates the 44th anniversary of D-Day with a special radio presentation from Columbia Records at 2:00pm, followed by “The Eye’s of North Texas,” interviews recorded by former KERA Dallas Public Radio News Director Marla Crockett. These programs are provided by Reading and Radio Resource –North Texas Radio for the Blind.
