iBlink Radio App
Free iBlink Radio App Streams Sun Sounds
Sun Sounds of Arizona's broadcast, along with those of several other US and Canadian radio reading services, is now available on Apple mobile
devices, thanks to the iBlink Radio application developed by Serotek Corporation. iBlink Radio, touted as the first app for visually impaired people,
makes it easy to find current streaming and archived print information read aloud.
To download the free iBlink Radio app follow these five simple steps:
- From an iPad, iPod Touch or iPhone, tap on the "App Store." These devices come with the App Store automatically installed.
The App Store icon is blue with a white circle around a white compass. It looks like this:
- In the App Store search bar, enter "iBlink." The Serotek Corporation iBlink Radio app will appear, probably at the top of the list.
Tap the icon. The icon is a red button with the words "SamNet" on it. It looks like this:

- This returns a description of the iBlink Radio app, with a green button at the top right indicating the price. This app is free.
Tap the word, "free." The button turns into the word, "Install." Tap it to install the app.
- Once the app installs the red SamNet icon will appear on the device's menu. To lauch iBlink Radio, tap the SamNet icon.
The iBlink Radio main menu appears, with Reading Services listed as the first option. Tap the words "Reading Services."
- An alphabetized list of streaming reading services appears. Tap "Arizona, Tempe, Sun Sounds" or "Arizona, Tucson, Sun Sounds"
and the stream will start playing.
