About Sun Sounds

National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS) Western Conference Attendees Tour Sun Sounds of Arizona May 17, 2007.

Talking Book librarians from all across the West and Midlands who are attending the 2007 NLS Conference will have a lot to do while they’re in Phoenix, but they specifically requested a tour of Sun Sounds of Arizona.

The 70 members who will tour the Sun Sounds facility are part of a national network of cooperating libraries that provide free Braille and audio materials for people living with disabilities who find it difficult or impossible to read print.

“They serve the same people with disabilities we serve so we’re delighted to share our knowledge and resources with them,” says Bill Pasco, Sun Sounds of Arizona Director.

The group will arrive Thursday, May 17, 2007 at 3:30 PM.  Be sure to extend a welcome and a smile if you see them on campus.
