TEN SUN SOUNDS OF ARIZONA PROGRAMS NOW AVAILABLE ON DEMAND

(Tempe, AZ)-- Sun Sounds of Arizona announces the newest way for members with print-disabilities to access information – on demand and your own schedule! Nine weekly programs and the daily Wall Street Journal are available as podcasts, which means you can download Sun Sounds programs, take them with you, and listen anytime you’d like! Surf to sunsounds.org/members and click the Podcasts link to stream audio or download to an mp3 player.

You can also find our podcasts on iTunes by searching for Sun Sounds of Arizona. The nine weekly podcasted programs, read by various volunteers, include: Job Opportunities, Time Magazine, Arizona Capitol Times, Disability News Weekday, Disability News Weekend, Teen Magazines, Men’s Magazines, Sports of All Sorts, and The Onion. The daily Wall Street Journal is also available until it is overwritten with the next day’s issue. Of course you can always enjoy the many local and national newspapers, 100+ magazines, and fiction and non-fiction books read aloud on Sun Sounds in more traditional ways – over our special radios, on the internet at sunsounds.org/listen, or on Sun Dial II, the telephone access system developed by Sun Sounds.

This service is available at no charge to anyone with a disability that makes it difficult to read print. For more information or to apply for Sun Sounds service, whether it’s podcasts, radio, telephone or streaming on the internet, call 480-774-8300 or your local Flagstaff, Tucson or Yuma affiliate.
